Had a wonderful stay in the Standard Double Room. The staff went above and beyond, especially during breakfast, where I enjoyed delightful local dishes. A peaceful night followed by a vibrant morning made my brief escape unforgettable. Highly recommend exploring the nearby scenic walks!

This place was fabulous with huge rooms and a cozy atmosphere! The unique library and grand piano were such fun. We spent hours enjoying the beautiful gardens and interesting decor.

The breakfast options were amazing, offering a hearty Welsh spread that set us up for the day. We loved the unique character of our deluxe king room and the tranquil atmosphere throughout the property. One minor improvement could be more space for hanging clothes in the room.

We stayed for a night and it was totally charming! The vibe took us back to the '60s. Our deluxe king room was super spacious and had mirrors everywhere, which felt kinda cool. The vines draped over the windows made it cozy. Loved the vintage tub in the bath. The lounge bar had some nice drinks, though it could get noisy at times.

The breakfast spread was impressive, with a good variety and thoughtful options for dietary restrictions. Staff made an effort to cater to my partner's coeliac needs. The large gardens outside were a charming addition, although they could use some tidying up. The room was comfortable and spacious, but I noticed the plumbing could be a bit noisy at times. While exploring the common areas, I found the decor quirky and inviting. the experience felt unique and personal, with friendly engagement from the team. Location-wise, it was close to the city center, which was convenient. I loved the historical charm, but some areas were a touch dated. My only real downside was the outside space needing more attention. It would have added to the overall allure of the property.

The lighting in the room was insufficient, creating a dark and dingy atmosphere that detracted from the experience. the bathroom lacked proper maintenance, with cobwebs present and a broken mirror. Breakfast was a letdown, primarily a continental option that fell short of the advertised full English. Carrying the breakfast back to the room without trays became a hassle, and the furniture arrangement felt cramped, making it difficult to navigate and enjoy the space comfortably.

The room presented a delightful boutique experience, with pristine bedding and an enjoyable fresh scent of washing. The Welsh breakfast was hot and customizable, truly a highlight of my stay.

this place is super cozy! the fresh smell when i walked in was so nice, u dont get that in bigger hotels. the bed was comfy n the bathroom had the best free stuff to use. breakfast was freshly made n hot, which is a rare treat. staff were really friendly too, made me feel at home.

just a bit noisy from the pipes n the room was kinda small. also, the windows only opened a little so it got hot.

easy access to iconic sites and beautiful parks

I found the ambiance really nice with super-comfortable rooms and the location was excellent for exploring both the magnificent Caernarfon Castle just over 2 km away and the stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountains, definitely a plus for weekend wanderers like myself. however, a little attention is needed to cleaning in the dining area.
